Casi"NO" RoY[ell]ale
The experience of watching a bad movie in a worst theatre could be really dreadful! I experienced this last friday, when I went to watch this one at Symphony theatre (Bangalore).
I am not really a 'Bond' fan, but, the kind of hype this movie produced in recent times, created an artificial avidness in me to see this flick!
For starters, this is not your _regular_ bond movie at all. The movie starts off with a bang! cool acrobatic stunts in a chase sequence that brings you to the edge of your seat. Once that's over, the movie changes its course from being a bond movie to 'Discovery Channel: Poker Championship" programme! with lots of 'intervals' in between!...no commericial Ads though! :)
Nothing 'hitech' about this movie. No cool gadgets at all...(man, what a let down)...
Daniel Craig - No charm or charisma in this man...just another guy. Poor thing, he gets beaten by _every_one_ in the movie. Sean connery and Pierce brosnan must be aching inside!. But, I should admit that he had tried hard to justify the roll...but, with no luck!
Women in the movie - well, not so captivating...Eva green....naaa...
Overall, a flop show! Big time flop show!
Feel free to sleep during the movie, no one would blame you for it!
(a pillow would come in handy!)
Notes to self:
1) Symphony is HELL.
2) Think well before going to a movie without reading 3 or 4 reviews!
3) Movie Ads/Previews can be highly misleading!
4) Read (1).
Who _are_ these people anyway???
I come in the morning, open my mail box, guess what I see? Lots-n-lots of junk emails! If I have a total of 100 mails in my inbox, easily, more than 50% of them are spam...finding relevant mails becomes a "needle in the hay stack" thing...
I've tried setting up 'Junk email folder', 'Blocking mails' etc...but, no luck...the more you block, the more you get! :(
Now, the question is - who are these ppl anyway? Why do these companies or individuals spam the email boxes world-wide? I am sure no 'sane' company would adopt 'spamming' as their business model!...
What could be the motive behind these emails? Do they just wanna increase the internet traffic? Do they just wanna show the world that they also can spam? Are these high school grads trying to impress their girl friends? Are some insane start-ups hoping to get new customers through this channel? What the hell is their motive?...I don't get it!
Whatever it is, it is just some annoying piece of '$#it' that you just can't get rid off...
If you actually think of it, these people have actually taken the pain of registering a www domain for themselves, employing few people (atleast) to make up all these websites and some more folks to automate these spam!...what a waste of time and human resource!
C'mon spammers, "Live and let live"!
Dilbert's Laws of Work

There are many ...but, these are ones I liked the most!...
Don't be irreplaceable. If you can't be replaced, you can't be promoted.
It doesn't matter what you do, it only matters what you say you've done and what you're going to do.
After any salary raise, you will have less money at the end of the month than you did before.
The more junk you put up with, the more junk you are going to get.
Eat one live toad the first thing in the morning and nothing worse will happen to you the rest of the day.
When the bosses talk about improving productivity, they are seldom talking about themselves.
If at first you don't succeed, try again. Then quit. No use being a fool about it.
If you are good, you will be assigned all the work. If you are really good, you will get out of it.
If it wasn't for the last minute, nothing would get done.
When you don't know what to do, walk fast and look worried.
Following the rules will not get the job done.
No matter how much you do, you never do enough.
The last person that quit or was fired will be held responsible for everything that goes wrong.
Self-induced Spam!

A funny thing happened in our office yesterday!...
One guy from support staff sent an email copying to the entire organization (by mistake), Soon, we started receiving reply ALL mails from engineers saying "This mail is not intended to me" or "I am not the intended recipient of this mail" or "blah blah blah"...later, some folks started replying ALL with "Please do not reply all and spam the mail boxes" (look who's talking! :))...After sometime, some folks starting doing a message RECALL which resulted in more spam mails!
Overall, for one wrong mail message, the whole organization ended up received 100s of spam!
Moral of the Story: You don't need an external hacker to induce spam traffic in your intranet, look within!
Wanna try it out in your company?! :)
