Weekend trip to Madurai
Wedlock time again!...this time the victim was my colleague Balu.
I went to Madurai and Virudunagar over the weekend to witness the function.
In the spare time, we visited the Madurai Meenakshi temple (surprised?! :)), Thiruparangundram temple and Thirumalai Nayakar Mahal...Over all, the trip went on well!
Entered the next level of gaming!

Ladies and Gentleman, the day has finally arrived!...I got my own Play Station 2!!!
(I can hear some of you saying - 'huh, please grow UP')...but, this is how I am!
Yep, its a lil late in the life cycle of PS2...but, 'Better late than never', isn't it?
I bought it during the December '06 holidays...costed me around 10K...including a wireless controller! (quite a bargain, eh!)
So, now I enter the world of Grand Theft Auto, FIFA 07, Cricket 07, Need for Speed (carbon), Smack Down, etc...etc...
Man, its such a wonderful feeling to not worry about booting up Windoz to get to a game! and the controller is much much better than playing on the keyboard.
Of all the games I played so far (in this brief period), I love GTA(San Andreas) very much, cool game to spend loads of time!
Another adrenaline pumping game is the Need for Speed (carbon)...boy-oh-boy, I like to smack the hell out of police cars! the graphics and the controls are pretty cool...
Just got my hands on Cricket 07 (EA Sports) - Found that they (the programmers of the game) not only screwed up the faces of Indian cricketers, but also goofed up their names this time!...what a shame!..the developers of this game must have drunk to the brim to commit such a stupidity!!!...anyways, the game as such is not much different from the previous version (old wine in the old bottle). But, I need to get used to playing with the joystick.
Overall, I am on a high right now! :)
