Money Can...!

Well, its true that money can't buy you happiness...but, what about the other good deeds that it can do for you, which can lessen the number of things that you need to worry about in life?!...

I happened to see a couple of hollywood flicks recently...one was 'The Pursuit of Happyness' (yes, the 'y' is there intentionally!), the other one was 'Fun with Dick and Jane'. Both are totally different type of movies, the one commonality I found was 'What lack of money can do to you...'

If you are reading this post in office, there is a good chance that you work for a MNC software company (be'cos, blogging sites are blocked in most local companies!), earning a decent salary. But, what do you do with all that money? its easy to get carried away with the income and live a larger-than-essential life...but, what about future? Think about it...

I am not saying that you shouldn't enjoy your life today, but, don't do so as if there is no tomorrow! Try and ensure that you SAVE some for the rainy day. There are various legal means to even make your money GROW!

With other cheap software markets in Asia catching up with India, recession in few years in very much on the cards! what happened to US engineers during movement of work to India, can very well happen to us (god forbid).

CAUTION: TOO MUCH OF ANYTHING IS USUALLY NOT A GOOD THING!

So, while you make some efforts to save money, don't go overboard and waste your life in doing so! :)

A Tribute to Indian Cricket!

After their fabulous performance at the recent World cup, the Indian cricket team rushed back home few weeks ago! To celebrate their sensational success, they performed the world renowned 'Tiger-Dance' last weekend at the Kanteerava Indoor Stadium in Bangalore. The picture below is a proof that our cricketers are good in what ever they do! Check out their killer moves, all well-choreographed by the Coach, Mr. Chappell!

Laughing is a good way to reduce stress!...LOL!!!

So far so good!

Well, remember my 'march' mission to conquer Kannada, the language?!...the going has been good so far!...I think I might have spent a total of 15 hrs in the month, and it shows! I can finally make some sense of the _kannada_only_ hoardings that I see on the Road side! It's not a cryptic world anymore! Its a nice feeling, you know!

I would say I am 70% there...still need to learn some stuff...I think this month should do it! Well, this goes to show that you really can learn a language in a day (24 hrs), mostly u'll go mad at the end of the day! :)

Another added advantage is that if you learn to read kannada, telugu comes for free! :) I heard that the alphabets are almost similar...so, 2-in-1!!!

Finally, can you find any difference between the two below?!
